Narberth residents can register for a non resident membership by providing proof of Narberth residency. Documentation for ALL members interested in joining the pool will need to be submitted to the Parks and Recreation Office via email at recreation@lowermerion.org, via US mail or in person.
Please note, our office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:15am to 4:30pm.  Proof of residency submitted outside of normal business hours, will not be confirmed until the next business day.

How to Apply for a Narberth Borough Membership
     Log into your account.
     Hover over Register, Select Memberships.
     Select Belmont Hills - Narberth Borough Resident. 
     Select the Membership that best suits your family. Add to Cart.
     Complete the Check Out process.
     Print Pre Registration Form.
Please note, you are NOT REGISTERED until payment is received and processed.

Registrations can be processed three ways:

Over the Phone: If you have provided proof of residency via email, you can call the Parks and Recreation office, during regular business hours, and have them add your membership to your cart for payment.  You must be ready to make payment on-line via Credit Card or Checking Account (fees apply) once the membership is added to your cart.

Via US Mail: You can mail Pre Registration Form, with proof of Narberth residency for each member, along with payment (checks payable to Treasurer, Lower Merion Township) to the Parks and Recreation Office.

In Person: You can bring your proof of Narberth residency for each member, to the Parks and Recreation office and we can process your Pre Registration Form or create the membership in office.  Check, Cash, or Credit Card/ACH (fees apply) payments are accepted.  

Only Narberth Resident applications will be processed.
Any other Non Resident applications will be returned.

Membership Payments are not accepted at the Pool.

Refunds will not be considered once the pool has opened.

Pool Hours
Weekdays 12 Noon – 8:00pm*
Weekends/Holidays 11:00am – 8:00pm*

* The facilities close at 8:00pm. The pools will be cleared at 7:45pm.

Guest Policy
  • Only Members and paying guests of Members will be admitted.
  • All guests must be signed in using the Guest Registration Form. See Guest Registration Form at the link below.
  • Pool Guest Fees will not be refunded in the event of inclement weather or applied to any future pool membership purchases.
  • Guest fees must be paid at the gate (cash or check, payable to Treasurer, Lower Merion Township). Credit/Debit Card payments are NOT accepted at the pool.
  • The Aquatics Director may, at his/her discretion, restrict further access to the facility if he/she determines that the facility has reached unsafe conditions due to overcrowding. In addition, he/she may prohibit guests when necessary to relieve overcrowding.

2025 Season - Important Dates
  • Weekends Only Saturday, May 24 through Sunday, June 15
  • Open Memorial Day (Monday, May 26)
  • Open 7 Days per week Monday, June 16 through Monday, September 1 (as operations allow)
  • First Half Season = Saturday, May 24 through Sunday, July 20
  • Second Half Season = Sunday, July 20 through Monday, September 1

Pool Rules and Regulations - Rules to Note
  • Children thirteen (13) years and under must be accompanied by a person at least eighteen (18) years of age who must accept responsibility for the safety and conduct of the child.
  • Persons using the Leisure Pool and Intermediate Pool MUST be toilet trained.
  • Children that are not toilet trained are required to wear non-disposable swim diapers with elastic bands and are only permitted in the Wading/Tot Pool.
  • Floatation devices are limited to Coast Guard Approved puddle jumpers, life vests, or life jackets, only.
  • No balls, water toys or inflatable devices are permitted in the pool area unless authorized by a lifeguard.
  • No tobacco or alcohol shall be permitted on the grounds.
  • No glass bottles or containers of any kind are permitted in the pool area.
  • In order to use the Water Slide, the user must be 48” tall, as required by the slide manufacturer, and able to swim in deep water. Lifeguards may test users at any time to confirm their swimming ability.

Swim Lessons
  • Swim lessons are offered at the Belmont Hills Pool.
  • Swim lesson registration is handled at the pool.

Birthday Parties
  • Birthday parties and gatherings can be coordinated with the pool's Aquatics Director.
  • Gatherings are only permitted during normal pool operating hours.
  • Guest fees apply.

Early Morning Lap Swim @ Belmont Hills Pool
  • June 17 – August 9, 2024 (as operations allow)
  • 8:00 – 9:00am, Monday – Friday
  • This hour is reserved for Lap Swimmers ONLY
  • Belmont Hills Lap Pool is 60 ft long, which equate to a little more than 18 meters.

Tot Pool Hours @ Belmont Hills Pool
  • June 17 – August 9, 2024 (as operations allow)
  • Open at 10:00am, Monday – Friday
  • Members will ONLY be permitted to use the Tot Pool.

Special Events
  • The Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta will be held Sunday, July 27 (rain or shine) at the Belmont Hills Pool, beginning at 3:00pm. The lap pool will be CLOSED for this event, but will re-open once event is complete.
  • The Parks & Recreation Department’s Family Fun Night will be Tuesday, July 29 from 5:00 – 7:45pm. The pool will be open to Belmont Hills members as well as participants in our summer recreation programs.

Financial Assistance
  • Financial assistance is available to Lower Merion residents who meet certain income eligibility guidelines.
  • The process is confidential.
