The US Sports Institute offers basketball programs for players ages 4-8 of all ability levels looking to learn and develop basketball skills, strategy, and technique. With classes ranging from beginner to advanced abilities, we are sure to have something to suit every child. USSI's basketball players will be sure to improve skills and learn the importance of teamwork in this fast-paced, exciting sport.
USSI's Basketball Squirts program for ages 4-5 is designed to introduce your budding NBA star to the high energy game of basketball! Using proportionately sized basketballs, this program encourages players to develop motor skills and basic technique in passing, dribbling and shooting. Players will be taught through a series of fun challenges, structured activities and scrimmages.
USSI's Basketball - Senior Squirts program is designed to introduce your budding NBA star to the high energy game of basketball! It is the perfect stepping stone for players who have completed USSI's Basketball Squirts program or for a child looking for their first ever basketball experience! Players will develop a good understanding of teamwork within the game, all while improving their skills in dribbling, passing and shooting. All Senior Squirts curricula create an environment which allows players to develop and progress within the sport.
Basketball – Foundation: Throughout the program, players will develop their dribbling, passing and shooting skills. Each day will end with small-sided games where coaches will encourage good sportsmanship and teamwork. Focusing on developing a basic understanding of the sport, all Foundation curricula have been designed for the beginner to intermediate player.
USSI Make Up Policy
During spring, fall and winter seasons, USSI will provide 1 fixed rain date per program (with the exception of some school vacation programs). In the uncommon event of more than 1 cancelation due to inclement weather in a season, no further compensation will be allocated. During the summer season, for camps and classes without access to an indoor facility, no compensation for an inclement weather cancelation can be guaranteed by USSI.
