Spy Academy
Young spies and secret agents will dive into the fascinating world of codes, communication, and espionage through hands-on STEM challenges and interactive missions! Campers will create secret identities, decode hidden messages, explore Braille and Morse code, uncover hidden “dead drops,” and solve puzzles to complete their top-secret mission. Through teamwork, problem-solving, and cryptography activities, students will discover how real spies and investigators communicate and protect information while bringing home secret-agent tools and code breaking fun to use beyond camp.
 
History Hunters
Young paleontologists will travel back in time to uncover the mysteries of dinosaurs, fossils, and prehistoric life through hands-on science activities and exciting discoveries! Campers will learn how fossils form, explore Earth’s history, examine real fossil specimens, create plaster fossil casts, preserve objects in “amber,” and investigate the work of real paleontologists like Mary Anning. Through interactive experiments and prehistoric challenges, students will experience the science behind Earth’s ancient past while taking home their own fossil-inspired discoveries and artifacts.

Winter Break (Dec 28 - 30)
Nifty Natural Mechanical Science
Spring into a medley of science! Learn about the Earth and its animal inhabitants, simple machines, rocketry, and chemical reactions; there’s something for everyone! Build and race a car, concoct creations with chemistry, analyze animal tracks and cap off the week with a rocket launch!
 
Chemical Curiosities
Become a creative chemist through the investigation of the periodic table and the atoms that make up everything around us!  Learn about chemical reactions as you grow crystals. We will experiment oxidizing metals with different chemicals to see how rusty they get, design chromatography bandannas to take home, and even make our very own ice cream!

Shocking fun awaits! Join us while we build simple circuits, make buzzers buzz, test our nerves, tinker with electromagnets, and even see a Van de Graaff generator create indoor lightning!cient past while taking home their own fossil-inspired discoveries and artifacts.

Friday, February 12
Mad Machines and Jr. Engineers
Get ready to build, launch, lift, and race through the exciting world of machines and engineering! Young inventors will explore the science of simple machines through hands-on STEM challenges as they construct working catapults, experiment with giant levers and powerful pulleys, test wheels and axles, and build their own moving machines. From launching projectiles to engineering grabbers and drag racers, campers will discover how engineers use simple machines to make work easier and power the technology we use every day — with awesome engineering creations to take home and continue testing.
 
LEGO® Vehicles
Start your engines for an exciting LEGO® engineering adventure developed with LEGO master builders! Young engineers will design, build, and test amazing vehicles while exploring the science of motion, friction, propulsion, wheels, and axles through hands-on STEM challenges. Campers will construct custom LEGO vehicles, engineer fast-moving race cars, build working hovercrafts and glider cars, and tackle creative engineering missions designed to test speed, strength, and problem-solving skills. This high-energy camp combines engineering and creativity with exciting builds campers can recreate and experiment with at home.

Monday, February 15
Eureka – Science Fiction – Light Sabers to Lasers
Inventing means reaching for the stars! Children will build wind-up space stations, and design safety capsules for payloads returning from space. They race in a robotic relay, and learn about microgravity, rockets, and space stations. The camp culminates in children building their own sci-fi inspired light sticks that they can take home, along with their dreams of the future!

Eureka – Shipwrecked
Inventing means survival! A deserted island is the scene for this day filled with problem-solving and adventure! Children witness a volcanic eruption and learn how magnets can help search for shipwrecks. They must work together to design and build bridges and boats to eventually escape the island and find their way home.

Wednesday, March 10
Jr Naturalists
Learn how birds and beasts catch their prey! Flow through the food chain and discover how animals and insects adapt to life on our planet. Explore how a change in the wind, water, and temperature affects all of Earth’s inhabitants. Build wooden birdhouses, dissect owl pellets and learn how animals navigate the world using scent trails. Campers will also build a bug house to observe critters and identify animals by making plaster animal tracks.
 
Jr Physicians Academy
The Lung and the Breathless- Explore all the cells, organs, muscles, and bones that make up YOU! Put yourself together from the inside out, while learning about all the systems that make your body tick! Get microscopic while making a model cell and inflatable lungs and then get a little sticky while making Mad Mucus and a mashed potato brain!

Spring Break, March 22 - 26
NASA: STEM Explorers
Developed in partnership with NASA, our campers will think and act like NASA innovators during this hands-on program inspired by the NASA OPTIMUS PRIME Research Challenge (NASA OPSPARC). Use creative and collaborative skills to design a mission patch, train like an astronaut, build a Mars rover and solve real-world engineering problems. How might you use space suit cooling tubes be used to solve a problem here on Earth? 
 
Mad Machines & Jr Engineers
Whether you enjoy building or destroying structures, you’ll love this camp! Work with simple machines such as pulleys, wedges, screws, and levers, to build your own catapults! Experiment with tessellation with triangles and cubes. Exercise your ability to work with others while constructing a geodesic dome big enough for everyone to fit inside! Let the building begin!
