Universal Rackets is a pickleball and tennis company that specializes in clinics, private instruction, tournaments for all ages and levels. All staff are PPR/USPTA certified. Our mission is simple: to teach tennis and pickleball to all levels and ages through structured, high energy, upbeat and personalized instruction.
Beginner
The Universal Rackets Beginner Pickleball Clinic will consist of learning serving and returning, how to keep score and rules, dinking and controlling the ball. Basic shot techniques and court positioning will be taught. The clinic is structured into segments, so each session builds off of the previous lesson. After the session is done, a student with no prior pickleball experience will turn into a confident player and be able to play fully on their own outside of class.
Advanced Beginner & Intermediate
The Universal Rackets Advanced Beginner & Intermediate Pickleball Clinic will consist of serving, shot techniques, strategy, rules & scoring. Sessions will go over how to control the kitchen, touch shots, backhand & forehand drives and offense - to - defense transitioning. Students will hone their dinking and block - volleying, paired with a vast understanding of court positioning to set up their partner for a put away poach overhead smash. Plenty of match play will be included.
Intermediate Plus
The Universal Rackets Intermediate Plus Pickleball Clinic is tailored for players who possess a solid foundation and aim to elevate their game further. This clinic focuses on advanced strategy, repetition of high-level techniques, and specific in-game drills and scenarios. Participants will engage in match play, honing tactics and skills needed for competitive open play, league and tournament participation.
Guided Drilling/Strategy
This clinic will consist of high-level drills and repetitions designed to perfect your pickleball game. It’s a full drilling clinic with tons of reps focused on refining your strokes, tactics, and overall strategy to help you create offensive opportunities and win more points
Program Note
Please bring the following items to class: water, athletic footwear, your own paddle (instructor will provide limited amount if you do not have your own)
Make-up Policy
One make-up date will be guaranteed at the end of each session. If more than one class is cancelled, additional dates will not be added and a refund will not be issued.
