Ardmore Ave Pool - Closed for 2026
Ardmore Ave Pool will remain closed for the 2026 Season.
We were hopeful that we would be able to open the Ardmore Pool for a portion of the 2026 season. Unfortunately, despite the significant progress that has been made, weather and schedule challenges have delayed completion beyond the point where we can safely and responsibly open the facility for the remainder of this summer. As a result, we have made the difficult decision that the Ardmore Pool will not open for the balance of this season. We understand this news is disappointing, especially for families who were looking forward to enjoying the pool for a portion of this summer. We share in that disappointment. Our priority has always been to open the facility only when it can be done safely and provide the high-quality experience our community deserves. The Ardmore Avenue Community Center and Park construction will continue throughout the remainder of the year, with an anticipated opening in early 2027. We are excited to welcome the community back once the project is complete and appreciate your patience as we work to deliver a modern, accessible facility that will serve the community for years to come.
To provide Lower Merion Residents an opportunity to join a pool, we are offering second half season memberships to Belmont Hills Pool at half price. Information about membership options, pricing, and registration is available through the Parks & Recreation Department and on the Township website.
We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout this project. We know how much this facility means to our community, and we look forward to welcoming everyone when construction is complete.
