Kids Look Listen Create introduces young children to classical music and fine art through stories, games, movement, and creative crafts.
Our programs spark imagination, encourage personal interpretation of art and music, and promote creativity and joyful play through movement and open-ended projects. We also nurture ecological awareness by using natural and recyclable materials in our projects.

Fine Art, Spring Session
In this 5-week program, children will be introduced to famous artists and their works through engaging stories and games. We will explore paintings and architecture, noticing colors, shapes, and discussing some of the techniques and ideas used by artists. Children will become familiar with works by Van Gogh, Cassatt, Klee, Gaudí, and Picasso. Each class will conclude with an open-ended craft inspired by the art, stories, and presented materials.
Fine Art, Summer Session
In this 5-week program, children will be introduced to famous artists and their art through stories and games. We will examine paintings and environmental art, identify portraits and landscapes, and reflect on how various works of art make us feel and what we consider “art.” Children will become familiar with the art of Monet, Gauguin, Renoir, Klimt, and Christo and Jeanne-Claude. Each class will conclude with an open-ended craft inspired by the art, stories, and presented materials.
