Spark Business Academy
SPARK Business Academy was founded in 2013 with the mission to empower students of all ages with essential financial literacy skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. SPARK offers over 25 life skill-based programs including financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and leadership specifically designed for K-12 students through after school programs and school vacation camps in the fall, winter, and spring as well as summer camps.
My First Hot Cocoa Stand (Ages 5 - 8)
Learn how to make yummy hot cocoa, and earn money selling it! A hot cocoa stand is a great way to introduce our youngest entrepreneurs to the world of business and is fun! From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits to experimenting with recipes, students have fun while developing business savvy! As a showcase event, students launch the stand as a fundraiser for a charity they select!
Young Entrepreneurs (Ages 8 - 12)
This program empowers students with an entrepreneurial mindset develop a plan for their very own business ideas drawing from such disciplines as marketing, finance and strategy, in a supportive environment fostering teamwork. From designing marketing flyers to estimating profits, students have fun while developing business savvy!
